What: Virginia OnAir and Mason Cable Network will collaborate on Tuesday November 5th, 2019 to provide our very own Live Election Coverage for the 2019 Virginia State Elections. The coverage will take place on the George Mason University campus and will be led by Katlyn Weiser and Yasmin Jaramillo who are the panelists for this event.

The coverage will include guests representing student organizations at Mason. Our guests include Kara Kline, President of GMU Democrats, Nick Priebe, President of GMU College Republicans, Julia Brice, President of GMU Students Demand Action and Kevin Damato, Virginia State Chair of Young Americans for Liberty.

Yasmin is currently a senior at George Mason University majoring in Government and International Politics with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. Yasmin is Undersecretary for Government and Community Relations in GMU’s student government and Curation Director for Democracy onAir.

Katlyn Weiser, Outreach Director for Democracy onAir
Katlyn is currently a senior at George Mason University majoring in Government and International Politics. She is also the founder and president of the GMU Virginia21 chapter and Chair of the VA21 student leadership committee and Outreach Director for Democracy onAir.
