VA Representatives & Gun Legislation

Virginia, much like the rest of the United States, is conflicted in terms of its statewide opinion on gun control.  This is reflected in the diverse opinions of the 140 representatives who serve in Virginia’s General Assembly.  While the Republican controlled General Assembly of the past was successful in passing legislation which favored less government control over guns, the now blue General Assembly has shifted its stance on gun control with new legislation now limiting some aspects of gun ownership and usage.
