My name is Justin Park and I am a George Mason University student that is pursuing a BA in Information Technology with a concentration in Information Security Systems.
I am a member of Team 4Front as a part of the George Mason University Capstone program. I have a strong interest in politics and technology and wish to contribute my efforts to help further the mission of having a free and open democracy.

I am currently a Junior in the Volgenau School of Engineering (VSE) at George Mason University. I am pursuing a major in Information Technology with a concentration of Information Security. I currently work at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital as an Unit Secretary where I was able to see how the Healthcare industry works on a professional level. Through this experience, I was able to learn and understand the technology, standards, and protocols that the hospital uses in order to provide our patients with the best services and healthcare. My clerical position led me great exposure to working with doctors, nurses, technicians, visitors, patients, and other healthcare service providers which strengthened my communication skills.
In my free time I enjoy reading philosophy, exercising, traveling, and learning new skills. I have learned various programming languages such as Python, Java, HTML, MySQL and I am currently self-teaching myself linux as it is a necessary skill to have in the cyber security field. My passion for cyber security lies with an interest in learning the risks behind new technology which provides a foundation for near infinite growth.
I always believe that learning and self-improvement is the key to living a fulfilling life and I want to seek an employer that is willing to mentor me on how to apply these skills for the betterment of society.

-Programmed a videogame using Object-Oriented Python for a Project.
-Designed and developed a fictitious commercial website using Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop which was uploaded using Filezilla.
-Designed and developed a profile website using PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL which was uploaded through SSH.
-Used CISCO Packet Tracer to gain a basic understanding of computer networks

2016 to 2019I was responsible for providing clerical and administrative labor for our unit such as compiling records, maintaining medial charts, reports or correspondence files. I worked closely with the technicians, nurses, and other staff members by providing the necessary tools and providing proper assistance when needed.
