Summary

George Mason has over numerous student-focused, politically active groups including Democrats at Mason, George Mason College Republicans, Roosevelt at Mason, and Students onAir @GMU.

The Students onAir @GMU chapter is exploring various ways to collaborate  with these groups especially how the chapters’ aircasts (livestream, student-led discussions) like this two minute highlight video of an interview aircast with Congressman Don Beyer.

The George Mason Democrats are the official representatives of the Democratic Party at George Mason University. We seek to engage George Mason students in the political process by providing opportunities to meet candidates and elected officials, work on campaigns, discuss the most pressing issues of the day, and more.

The purpose of this organization shall be to bring young Americans into the Republican Party, to mold and train those youth as well directed, effective, and loyal Americans in accordance with the conservative ideals of the Republican Party, to support and assist in the election of Republican nominees in their respective elections, and to create and spread, throughout George Mason University, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the United States of America, goodwill toward conservatives and the Republican Party.

Who Writes the Rules Matters.

Roosevelt @ Mason seeks to empower students with the resources and environment to become effectively involved in the policy process at the campus, local, state, and national levels. The Roosevelt Institute engages in policy research, analysis, and writing to increase youth voices at all levels of the policy process. Roosevelt @ Mason promotes communication and coordination with community members, stakeholders, and policymakers in order to create real policy-oriented solutions. The ultimate goal of the organization is to facilitate progressive policy innovation in the local political process.
