Health Disparities among African American Women

• Elucidated the American healthcare system and as to why they discriminate against people of color, explaining issues such as the gentrification of hospitals and communities, maternal mortality, and healthcare staff being dismissive of the patient’s symptoms
• Illustrated Global Health and Development strategies, detailing that by educating American citizens and healthcare staff about racial issues, we can better prevent the mistreatment of people of color, and ultimately result in lesser mortality for all patients

Environmental Racism in the Washington, D.C. Area

• Included an in-depth analysis of the neighborhood of Kenilworth which was built atop of a discontinued waste facility complex
• Explained in-depth the environmental, social, and community impacts to the African American community

• Thoroughly defined the term neoliberalism over time dating back to its birth in 1938 to its significance in the global economy and political atmosphere today
• Illustrated the effects of free-market capitalism and the exploitation of the United States upon other countries’ citizens due to lesser labor restrictions
• Provided multiple potential global governance solutions, including the reduction of outsourcing and offshoring labor and promoting a domestic economy

Kashmiri Conflict – The Search for a Peaceful Kashmir                                                                            November 2021

• Delineated the tense history of Kashmir prior to the British partition of India and Pakistan up until the revoking of Article 370 allowing for Kashmir’s partial autonomy in India in 2019
• Divulged the multitude of violence in the region such as murders, mass-shootings, bombings, violent instigations by the Indian and Pakistani armies, and the shifting of blame between the two nations
• Compared news sources about a cold-blooded murder of Kashmiri shop owner, Ibrahim Khan, differentiating how India and Pakistan depict one another and the state of Kashmir
